Weddings in Nambour Anglican Parish

We offer Christian wedding services according to the rites of the Anglican Church of Australia prayer books.
We have three church buildings for use in weddings (St John’s Nambour, St Margaret’s Woombye, All Saints Yandina) to be conducted by one of our licensed Anglican priests.
The process to apply for a wedding service begins with an application to the church office (see form below).
Once the wedding service is accepted and booked, the official paper-work can be started. There is a minimum period of one calendar month notice needed to get married by a registered celebrant under the law of the Commonwealth of Australia.
We ask couples to do some pre-marriage preparation before their marriage service. This comprises of some studies in Christian marriage, and usually a preparation for marriage process using the Prepare Inventory.
The process of planning a wedding service usually requires at least 3 interviews with the celebrant.
Costs for the wedding celebration can be obtained from our office.
